1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing or using the Chisel mobile application (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. What the App does

Chisel is a task-first Pomodoro timer. It lets you:

• Create tasks and break them into subtasks with estimates in pomodoros
• Work through them in timed focus sessions with short and long breaks
• Receive alerts when a session or a break ends
• See your daily and weekly focus statistics

3. Your data

Everything you enter is stored on your device. There is no account and no server, so we hold no copy. Android may include the App’s data in your phone’s own backup, as described in the Privacy Policy. You own your data, and keeping your device and its backups safe is your responsibility.

4. Acceptable use

Use the App lawfully. Do not reverse-engineer, decompile or redistribute it, or attempt to interfere with its purchase checks.

5. Chisel Pro

The App is free to use with up to three active tasks at a time. Chisel Pro removes that limit. It is a one-time purchase (Lifetime) made through Google Play. It does not renew and there is no subscription.

The price is shown in the App, in your local currency, before you confirm. Payment is processed by Google Play, and refunds follow Google Play’s refund policy. Your purchase is tied to your Google account and can be restored from Settings after a reinstall.

6. Alerts are best-effort

The App schedules its alerts with Android. Battery savers, “Do not disturb”, some manufacturers’ background restrictions, or turning notifications off can delay or silence them. Don’t rely on the App for anything where a missed alert could cause harm.

7. Intellectual property

The App, including its design, code and graphics, belongs to its developer and is protected by copyright. You may not copy, modify or distribute it without permission.

8. No warranty

The App is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will be error-free or uninterrupted.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, the developer is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including loss of data, arising from your use of the App. Total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the App.

10. Changes to these Terms

If these Terms change, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change. Continuing to use the App after that means you accept the new Terms.
