1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing or using Snag ("the App"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to them, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Snag saves publicly available media from social platforms to your device for personal, offline use. It supports TikTok, Instagram, X (Twitter), Facebook, Threads, Pinterest and Twitch clips.
The App is provided free of charge and supported by advertising. A one-time in-app purchase removes the advertising.
3. What the App Does Not Do
The App reads only what a logged-out visitor to those platforms can already see. It does not sign in to any account, it never asks for your credentials, and it cannot reach private, restricted or deleted posts. It does not circumvent any technical protection measure.
Where a platform's own app already lets you save a piece of media — photos on X, Threads and Pinterest, for instance — the App declines and points you there instead.
4. Your Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for what you download and what you do with it. By using the App you agree to:
- Download only content you have the right to download
- Respect copyright and the rights of the people who made it
- Keep what you download for personal, non-commercial use
- Not redistribute, sell or otherwise exploit it without permission
- Comply with the terms of service of the platform the content came from
5. Trademarks and Affiliation
Snag is an independent application. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to TikTok, Instagram, X (Twitter), Facebook, Threads, Pinterest, Twitch, or any of their parent companies. All product names, logos and brands are the property of their respective owners and are used only to say which links the App understands.
6. Intellectual Property
The App itself, its design and its code are owned by Naim Oudayet and protected by copyright. We claim no ownership of anything you download through it: that content belongs to whoever made it.
7. In-App Purchases
- Processed through Google Play; we never see your payment details
- A one-time purchase, not a subscription — there is nothing to cancel
- Restorable on a new device through the App's Restore Purchases option
- Refunds are governed by Google Play's policies and applicable law
8. Advertising
The free version displays advertising supplied by Google AdMob. Using the free version means accepting that. The one-time purchase removes it.
9. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind. In particular we do not guarantee that:
- It will keep working with every platform. These are third-party services that change without notice, and an extractor that works today can stop tomorrow
- Every download will succeed
- The App will be uninterrupted or free of error
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including any claim arising from content you chose to download.
11. Availability and Changes
Features may be added, changed or withdrawn — including support for a platform that makes itself impossible to support. The App includes switches that let a platform be turned off on your own device when it stops working.
12. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. These terms end with it, except for the sections that by their nature survive.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Tunisia, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
