Privacy Policy

How Stickwise handles your information, and the rights you have over it.

1. Information We Collect

Stickwise is a puzzle game. It has no account, no sign-up and no server of ours, so most of what it knows stays on your phone.

1.1 Data Kept on Your Device

  • Game progress: which levels you solved, your stars, your daily streak, your hint balance and the times you watched a rewarded video.
  • Settings: sound, vibration, theme and language, and whether you have seen the first-run help.
  • Ad and purchase state: how many levels you solved since the last ad, whether you own Pro, and a record of each Google Play purchase whose hints were added (its purchase token, so the same purchase is never counted twice).

This data is stored locally. We never receive it.

1.2 Data Collected Automatically by Third-Party Services

  • Advertising identifier and device information: The free version shows ads supplied by Google AdMob. To serve and measure them, Google collects your device's advertising ID, IP address, device and app information and ad interactions. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings.
  • Consent: In the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, Google's consent form (UMP) asks for your choice before ads are requested, and Settings › Ad privacy choices lets you change it at any time.
  • Purchase information: Google Play tells the App what you bought (Pro, hint packs), so it can switch ads off and add the hints. We never see your payment card details.

1.3 Data We Do Not Collect

  • Your name, email address, phone number or any account with us
  • Location, contacts, photos, files or microphone input
  • Crash reports or analytics of our own: the App contains no crash-reporting or analytics SDK

2. How We Use Information

  • Your progress and settings make the game work, and are used for nothing else.
  • The advertising identifier is used by Google AdMob to show and measure ads. We do not receive it.
  • Purchase state switches the ads off once you own Pro, and adds the hints you bought, once per purchase.
  • Your email address, if you write to us, is used to reply to you.

3. Storage & Security

Progress is stored in a database inside the App's private storage on your device. Network requests the App makes (ads, consent, Google Play) use encrypted connections. There is no server of ours to breach. If Android's own backup is on for your device, Android may copy the App's data, your progress and hints included, to your Google account, so a new phone or a reinstall can get it back; you control this in your device settings.

The game itself works offline. Ads need a connection.

5. Your Rights & Choices

  • Access: Everything we hold is visible in the App.
  • Delete: Settings › Reset progress clears levels, stars and streak; your hints stay, since some may have been bought. Uninstalling the App removes all of its data from your device (and Android's backup keeps a copy only if you have it on). There is nothing on our side to delete.
  • Ad choices: Settings › Ad privacy choices (where offered), your device's ad settings, or buying Pro.
  • Purchases: Reset progress does not remove Pro or bought hints. You can restore Pro from Settings › Restore purchase.

6. Children's Privacy

Stickwise is not designed for children and is intended for people aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us so we can act on it.

7. Data Retention

Your progress stays on your device until you reset it or uninstall the App. Data held by Google (advertising, purchases) is retained under Google's own policies.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
