1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Wealth Note mobile application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Wealth Note is a personal finance management application that allows users to:
- Record income and expenses, with a description, category, payment method and date
- Search and filter those records over any date range
- View spending statistics and financial insights
- Set bill reminders and recurring transactions
- Set weekly, monthly or yearly budgets with alerts, with Premium
- Export data as CSV or JSON, and as PDF or Excel reports with Premium
- Import previously exported data back into the App
Wealth Note is a record-keeping tool. It does not connect to your bank, move money, or provide financial, tax, investment or legal advice.
3. User Accounts & Data
Your financial data is stored on your device, in an encrypted database, and nowhere else. This release has no cloud backup and no account to sign in to, so the only copies that exist are the ones you export yourself. Keeping your device secure — and keeping your own backups — is therefore your responsibility: if you lose the device, the data goes with it.
You retain full ownership of your financial data. We do not sell or share your personal financial information with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or infrastructure
- Use automated systems to access the App in a manner that exceeds reasonable use
- Transmit any viruses, malware, or other harmful code through the App
5. Subscriptions & Payments
Wealth Note is free to use and shows ads. Premium removes the ads and unlocks the detailed statistics breakdowns, budgets with alerts, PDF and Excel export, and unlimited custom categories. It is offered as:
- Weekly, Monthly and Yearly plans: recurring, billed through Google Play
- Lifetime: a single payment, no renewal
Prices are shown in the App in your local currency before you confirm anything. Premium unlocks features within the App; it is not a service we host, so there is nothing to go offline.
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You may manage or cancel your subscription through the Google Play Store settings on your device.
All payments are processed by Google Play. Refund requests must be submitted through Google Play in accordance with their refund policies.
6. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, graphics, logos, and all related content, is the intellectual property of Wealth Note and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without prior written permission.
7. Disclaimers & Warranties
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that:
- The App will be error-free or uninterrupted
- Financial calculations or data will be 100% accurate at all times
- The App will meet all of your specific requirements
Wealth Note is a budgeting and tracking tool and does not constitute financial advice. You should consult a qualified financial professional for financial decisions.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Wealth Note and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or financial losses arising from your use of the App.
Our total liability for any claim related to the App shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the App.
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. If you have an active subscription, remember to cancel it through the Google Play Store to avoid future charges.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and may notify you through the App. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation or, if necessary, through binding arbitration.
